Books I've Loved Recently

13:12

Lately I have read so many amazing books and I just have to share them with you. This time of year is perfect for lounging around in the sun and really getting stuck into an incredible story!

1.) Behind Closed Doors by BA Paris

This book goes to show that not everything is always as it seems. It will draw you in and shock you. It highlights how quickly you can be sucked into toxic situations and be made to feel helpless and unable to escape . It makes us aware of how easy it can be to 'fake' a perfect life when no one really knows just what goes on behind closed doors! You will find yourself rallying for the protagonist and shocked by each ordeal she is forced to overcome.  This is the first Thriller which I ever read and I haven't stopped reading them since!

2.) Little Black Lies by Sharon Bolton

This enthralling book of hysteria leads us on a wild journey with many twists and turns; taking us through every mothers worst nightmare and leaves us desperate for answers! The tension builds throughout the story and ends with a dramatic crescendo of affairs and an ending which no one saw coming.

This psychological thriller will take you on a shocking journey and tease you to let you believe you've worked out what happened, only to then throw in numerous spanners into the works and leaving you back at square one in the guessing game, right until the end.

4.) Between You and Me by Lisa Hall

OH MY GOD THE TWIST.
It's a similar theme to 'Behind Closed Doors' but with the mother of all twists!...I don't want to give it away but read it. Read it all. Right to the very end...especially the very end!

5.) The Teacher by Katerina Diamond

I didn't quite realise what I was letting myself in for when I began to read this book. At the beginning it gets a little confusing with different sub-stories and characters who seem to have no link to each other but their paths gradually tie together when their extremely gruesome and sadistic past is revealed.

Have you read any of these books? What books would you recommend?
